Warranty begins upon date of installation. Dealers should thoroughly inspect the product for defect prior to installation per the STC Installation Instructions.
FireFrost ("Company") warrants to the original purchaser ("Customer") that the FireFrost Fire Suppression Systems ("Product") will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase ("Warranty Period").
Warranty Service: During the Warranty Period, the Company will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any component of the Product that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. All warranty repairs and replacements will be free of charge. However, any shipping costs associated with the repairs or replacements of the Product are the Customer's responsibility.
Replacement Parts: Any parts replaced under this warranty will either be new or refurbished and will be covered for the remainder of the original Warranty Period.
How to Obtain Warranty Service: To obtain warranty service, the Customer must contact the Company's customer service and follow the instructions provided. The Customer may be required to submit proof of purchase and a detailed description of the defect.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damages resulting from (a) misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, alterations, improper installation, or unauthorized repairs; (b) use outside the intended or reasonable scope of the Product’s operational capabilities; (c) lack of proper maintenance as outlined in the Product documentation; (d) natural disasters, including but not limited to lightning, flood, earthquake, and fire; and (e) cosmetic damage that does not affect Product functionality.
In circumstances where the Product is manually activated due to an emergency, such as an in-flight fire, or in anticipation of a post-crash fire, and such activation is substantiated by a report filed with the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) or other relevant aviation authority, FireFrost commits to replacing the system, including the fire bottle, at no cost to the Customer. This provision remains in effect for the entire duration that the FireFrost system is installed in the aircraft, extending beyond the standard Warranty Period. This commitment is contingent upon the manual engagement being deemed justified and necessary by the analysis within the NTSB report or the findings of a similar authoritative body.
Disclaimer of Unstated Warranties: The warranty stated above is the only express warranty provided by the Company. Any implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this express warranty.
Limitation of Damages: The Company is not responsible for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, including but not limited to lost profits, downtime, goodwill, damage to or replacement of equipment and property, and any costs of recovering, reprogramming, or reproducing any program or data stored in a device that is used with the Product.
Governing Law: This Warranty Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
Modifications: The Company reserves the right to change this Warranty Policy without notice.
